This two-hour talk will evaluate ethical considerations from the Huai Nan Zi, and the Tao te Ching. We will contrast what constitutes science in modern medicine with what constituted science when Chinese medicine came into being. We will ask questions about our modern scientific method and whether its support of pharmaceutical intervention meets the criteria of the Nei Jing and the Tao of nature.
